Members of 'Syrian opposition' arrested in Lebanon


BEIRUT, Oct. 29 - A total of eight Syrians, including six members of the so called 'opposition' and two terrorists were arrested in Lebanon over possessing unlicensed weapons, Lebanese official National News Agency (NNA) reported on Monday.

A Lebanese military investigating judge, Imad Zein, issued on Monday arrest warrants against the eight Syrian detainees.

The judge questioned the accused for "possessing large quantities of unlicensed military weapons and ammunition."

Meanwhile, one of the detainees was also accused of opening fire at Lebanese Army members in Masharii Al-Qaa region in Lebanon.
